Hand Towel in Natural Cotton – Set of Two
Hand towel in natural cotton, woven in any of our historic dimity patterns. Pictured is our even-striped herringbone in a classic dimity pattern used from the early 17th century thru the 19th century. Dimity is the name given to a group of fabrics usually in white or natural. The weaving pattern is what gives dimity it’s characteristics and hence it’s name. Dimity was used for bedhangings, curtains, toweling, and clothing. We offer these as practical and historic towels.
These hand towels make a beautiful gift and are machine washable and machine dry-able. They are soft and absorbent and age very well. We often have shades of natural and bleached white available for these. Colors may also be available.
They measure 19 inches x 35 inches. We sell them individually or in sets of two.
